The Old Sunday School & Hot Tub

Located to the rear of Meadowside Cafe, and enjoying splendid views of Combe Scar and Rise Hill, is the Old Sunday School Self-Catering Apartment with wooden hot tub. It is a warm, cosy 1 bedroom holiday cabin (sleeps 2-4) that is ideal for couples / families whether you want to explore this beautiful area, or just relax in the hot tub with a glass of Prosecco.

The Old Sunday School has everything you need, so you can relax on the sofa with a book, watch your favorite program on the smart TV, or surf the web, all in front of a wood burning fire.

For those who do not want to cater for themselves, there is always the option of pre-ordering breakfast from a sandwich to a full English breakfast served either in the cafe when we are open, or in the cabin. Additionally you can also order one of our homemade take away meals (24 hour notice is needed) to heat and eat at your convenience 

The Old Sunday School features an entrance hall providing storage for coats and boots. A modern kitchen area with four ring hob and oven, extractor, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher and all implements such as utensils, pans, cutlery, crockery, under-counter fridge and a island with stools

In the lounger area there is a double bed sofa, and easy chair situated in front of a **multi-fuel burner, along with a smart television (you may need your own log in details to access certain apps i.e. Netflix) which enables you to relax in the evenings in front of the fire and watch your favorite programmes or listen to the radio. The sleeping arrangements are one double bedroom, with bed linen provided. There is a wardrobe for your indoor clothes, shoes etc. and a hairdryer.

The shower room is situated in an en-suite room, accessed from the main lounge/kitchen area, offering shower, WC, washbasin and heated towel rail.

Extra heating is provided by electric heaters to ensure your warmth and comfort.                         Towels, bathmats & dressing gowns for the hot tub are also provided.                                                 There is free Wi-Fi available throughout the cabin.                                                                                     We do allow up to one well behaved pet, if discussed when making the booking.
